Video Game Development
2005-2010
When I joined Backbone Entertainment they were approaching SEGA for the development of a PSP title based on Sonic The Hedgehog. I created interface elements and overlaid them onto early gameplay footage to make the video above. Adding logo, titles and interstitials to communicate our vision for the project.
Front End Artist
Playstation Portable
Once Backbone was awarded the contract, I worked as the front end artist for the final product. Pushing the envelope of what was possible on the hardware at the time (and the patience of some developers!)
I joined the Firearm team at radical entertainment to work on AAA console development shortly before the takeover by Activision. It was here that I began to work in earnest with agile process, and to see the value of design and engineering working (literally) side-by-side. I worked on animation and front end graphics for video games.
